Review of The White Stripes: Under Great White Northern Lights (2009) by Andrew L — 21 Mar 2010
Without doubt the most original feature available for any single band. It's raw (no doubt thanks, at least in part, to its hyperanalog delivery), intimate, and never even close to ingenuine, much like the Stripes' music itself.
As a TRUE music fan, you cannot watch this doc and not be stupefied / surprised / engaged / filled with ecstasy / like a kid in a candy store. There has not ever been, nor will there ever be, a cooler human being than Jack White.
Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.
