Review of The Wicker Man (2006) by Dan M — 03 May 2017
This version of The Wicker Man is so much better than what one may have heard. Despite what others have said I think it functions well as a horror movie. I found the twists thrilling and I got a creepy overall vibe from the film.
Others seem to be docking it for being goofy at times, but I found the humor to be a welcome addition. Few movies manage this combination of being both funny and scary. (First viewing - Fall 2006).
