Review of The Words (2012) by David D — 07 Feb 2014
With an interesting idea, a relatable story, a good script full of fine dialogue written and directed brilliantly by Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal, a great cast full of wonderful performances by Bradley Cooper as Rory Jansen, Jeremy Irons as The Old Man, Dennis Quaid as Clay Hammond, Olivia Wilde as Danielle, Zoe Saldana as Dora Jansen, Ben Barnes as The Young Man and special appearances by J.
K. Simmons as Rory's Dad and Zeljko Ivanek as Joseph Cutler, fascinating scenes and sequences and an amazing pace and flow, The Words is a film that everyone should see thanks to its powerful themes and messages about success and plagiarism.
