Don't trust the "professional" critics to your left. This is just another disingenuous film that is banking on current social trends for a high critic score. Just look at the pretentious Rolling Stones review - it speaks of "diversion", no mention of plot, character development or cinematography.
Also, be aware that there is an aggressive push to censor all negative user reviews of this film on RottenTomatoes, IMDB and review sites. After watching this film, the 74% rating is not justified. The characters are emotionally flat, the performances are dire, if amateurish, with a plot that is asinine and executed far better in a hundred previous films.
No, it's not "unique" and "brave".
