Review of The World's Fastest Indian (2005) by Joanne H — 06 Jul 2012
I was surprised that Burt Munro was such a boring, bumbly type character. If I didnâ(TM)t already know that he broke the land speed record, I might not have watched it through, but knowing that he would, kept me watching until the end.
Anthony Hopkins is too good at portraying this aging absent minded man. One memorable line he says two thirds of the way through the movie, âIâ(TM)ve always wanted to do something BIG, something better than all the other jokersâ? â" and so he did.
Burt Munro is a real life example of an inconsequential person doing the amazing.
