Paul Thomas Anderson's visionary directing and Daniel Day Lewis' masterful lead performance amount to "There Will Be Blood" being timeless epic. It's intense, tragic, and although it's not a horror movie, it's at times scarier than one, as it portrays the worst of human tendencies but still is relatable.
