Review of Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead (1995) by Donna S — 26 Sep 2010
Sometimes, liking or not liking a movie depends on your frame of mind, your situation in life at the time, your expectations ~ so many factors. I was "high on life" in '95, living in London (an American expat), hadn't heard of this film, but was intrigued by its title .
.. and wound up just LOVING this movie. It was funny and disturbing and sad and romantic ... It was sort of my "defining" movie ~ I continue to love Andy Garcia, have always loved the eccentric Christopher Lloyd, love so many in the cast (Walken, Buscemi, Cheadle), and currently watch Gabrielle Anwar in t.
V.'s "Burn Notice." I tell anyone who will listen to check this movie out!
