Review of Thumbelina (1994) by Alexander C — 04 Nov 2012
In my view Don Bluth and Gary Goldman's worst movie. There's so much wrong with it. One it blatantly rips off Disney`s Renascence movies. I mean they even hire Ariel's voice actor to play Thumbalina.
Not only that the ending cuts to stained glass like in Beauty and the Beast. Second, this film is terribly all over the place. and feels like every other second we stepped into another movie. Third Thumbalina is useless.
She doesn't do anything either useful or good in her own movie. The scary thing though is people say this movie is Don Bluth, and Gary Goldman's most underrated film. Sorry people that's Titan A.
E. In the end Thumbelina is just another Warner Bros. Don Bluth movie that deserves it's obscure status.
