It's pretty bad when a movie is so predictable that it leaves no sort of amazement or even entertainment for the viewer. Melissa McCarthy is just getting way too type cast. This is like the 4th or 5th movie she's done in the past decade and her character hasn't changed or evolved whatsoever.
Same old humour. Same old predictable story line. She's such a great actress with so much potential, yet we get a train wreck like THUNDER FORCE! This film was all I needed to determine that McCarthy's career may very well take a nose dive if she doesn't start dipping her feet into some untried waters! She's getting older, and we can see her aging in this film.
She's gotta try something new.
