Superb film, Well-acted, and INCREDIBLY cast, but slightly plodding and confusing. Bears repeated viewing if you have not read the book. I love Oldman, who is a superb actor, and enjoy his restrained and subtle performance in this.
A beautifully made and fully realized film that grows upon the viewer with repeated viewings. Not a light or casual view. You have to REALLY pay attention, or you have no shot of following it.
