Review of Tiptoes (2002) by Lyndsay P — 03 May 2010
It got fairly preachy at points. Which was irritating, but I can understand the implied need for greater awareness about little people. This was a potentially great story about two people who fall in love in an unexpected circumstance but I feel like it was afraid to go there when it shouldn't have been.
If Gary and Kate's relationship had been a little more the focus of the movie and Matt's struggle to come to terms with his situation more of a side story, the movie would have sat much better with me.
I thought Gary and Kate were great with what they were given. I just wish there had been more.
