This movie is a wildly irresponsible example of when an indifferent Hollywood carelessly promotes a movie, and never questions the message or delivery. There is nothing glorious or fashionable about mental illness, and this movie suggests that it's both, with a professional model as the lead, and implying that recovery is somehow both simple, and wanderingly poetic. While it's tempting for Netflix to masturbatorily pat themselves on the back for distributing an anorexia film, and while it's tempting to us who watch it, we are instead promoting a film which embraces eating disorders and the cult of thinness instead of shedding light.

TL;DR you don't get points for watching an eating disorder film; the message is fundamentally misguided.
