To give a bit of a summary of my take on the film, I would say:
The animation was competent and actually great, but it stands out in a bad way. The music wasn't horrible, but it doesn't suit Tom & Jerry. The dialogue sucks, and with that, so does the acting. I wouldn't even consider this a real Tom & Jerry film, for the focus isn't even on the duo.
If you want a true Tom & Jerry experience, just watch the cartoon.
