Review of Top Gun: Maverick (2022) by Onefjef — 09 Jun 2022

I haven't seen such a lazy piece of mainstream garbage since the adaptation of the board game Battleship. They basically just remade the first movie, but way worse. The only redeeming thing about the film is the hot airplane action, but even that becomes boring after a while.

Just because it's a mainstream film doesn't mean it can't be creative or different in some way, Top Gun Maverick feels like it was phoned in. You can do better, Hollywood, I know you can.
