Okay, I admit I hadn't heard of Jules Dassin until he passed away. Then I read all about his films and I rented Topkapi. It's great absurdist fun, with a more or less gracious band of jewel theives, and things just keep going from bad to worse to worser.
There reallty is never a dull moment.
