Review of Tower (2016) by Jesus C — 10 Jun 2017
I expected TOWER to be one of those clique documentaries that'll be forgotten the next day. But with its unique storytelling and stunning animation, how could I forget this masterpiece?! August 1, 1966: One sniper goes on a massacre on top of the tower in the University Of Texas.
It takes you into eight different perspectives of the event by people that were unfortunately there to witness the horror. This has to be the best documentary I've ever seen so far, and it left me in such a heartbreaking mood.
I love the style used in the animation, and it seems really similar to Ralph Bakshi's own style in American Pop. If you like documentaries and/or animation, I strongly agree that you watch this perfect documentary.
