Nearly all of the actions of the senior officer can be rationalized as warranted and this is what makes this such a compelling story. You don't realize how bad things are until with one situation everything comes smashing down to the reality of how immoral everything that has been happening is.
A great film all-around, could have been better without the added nudity.
