Much deeper than I thought the trailer let on. It did a lot more showing than explaining, which is maybe the best way to avoid telling a story badly. I was infected throughout and afterward by Horn's constant melancholy reflection.
One of Cheadle's best roles, and Guy Pearce was wonderful. I expect to like it even better the more it sinks in. Not stupendous, but very satisfying.
