Review of Transformers (2007) by Dave G — 23 Sep 2018
An 80s toyline is given a slick Noughties makeover in this action-packed spectacle from Michael Bay. The Transformers themselves are imposing and impressive, even if their designs are overcomplicated, and it's a thrill to see them transforming and rolling out.
The film has heart too, despite a sometimes hyperactive performance from breakout star Shia LaBeouf.
