Transformers at least got some fun characters that shine during the second act, but in the third act everything goes back to dumb and incomprehensible action again. Throughout the movie the cinematography is just painful to look at, the color grading is awful and the continuous zooms, pans and cuts make no sense and do not draw the audience in or whatever. Overall, Transformers is big, dumb and, for some people (not me), exciting.
