Review of Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) by Matthew J — 02 Nov 2017
One star for the mildly improved storyline compared to Revenge of the Fallen. The creative added backstory generates the slight anticipation/expectations, only to screw up the storytelling midway through the movie.
The animation teams deserve a star for the special visual effects and their hard work to bring the characters to life. Other than that, it is a recycle of the previous two movies, and a money making machine (especially for China).
