This is a sequel that feels rushed and unfinished. Several of its jokes are crude or plain unfunny, and scenes meant to be momentous fall short, with a final battle that's surprisingly uninvolving.

Also, Optimus Prime and the Autobots feel too ruthless - the way they hunt down and execute Decepticons suggests that despite what they say, freedom is not the right of all sentient beings.
