Review of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) by Kevin R — 04 Feb 2014
Terrible and disappointing sequel. The twin Autobots were pretty annoying and racially offensive (typical for a Michael Bay film to have some racist humor). The plot was dumb and didn't make sense. The writers and Bay totally ruined Jetfire by making him an old fuck and a Decepticon. In the G1 series he was an Autobot and wasn't some old fuck. The Fallen was a terrible and disappointing villain with no real character development and was a waste of Tony Todd's talent. Tony Todd was completely wasted as the voice of the Fallen. He had a great and perfect voice for the Fallen but the role was terribly written. The human characters are still horrible and hog up too much screentime away from the Transformers who are the titular characters. The only good scenes from this movie were the forest fight scene, the Bumblebee vs. Ravage fight scene, and the final battle scene. This sequel had so much potential and could have been a great film that was even better than the first live-action Transformers film, but it ended up being terrible. Michael Bay is the master of art of ruining people's childhoods. I really hate Michael Bay so much. WHY DOES THIS GARBAGE HAVE A 57% AUDIENCE SCORE? So Hulk has a 29% audience score but this terrible, terrible Transformers movie has a 57% audience score? Why does Daredevil (2003) have a lower audience score than this terrible, horrible, shitty Bayformers sequel? Daredevil (2003) looks like a masterpiece compared to this steaming pile of horseshit. The Bayformers sequels clearly don't get enough hate, they seriously need a lot more hate. I live in a world full of idiots who like mindless, senseless, brainless, stupid action popcorn flicks directed by that idiot Michael Bay who just loves ruining people's childhoods. Michael Bay raped my childhood. How anyone can like these god-awful Bayformers sequels is beyond me!
Rating: 2/10.
