Review of Transformers: The Last Knight (2017) by Jorge Mauricio M — 06 Aug 2017
It was a step up from extinction thats for sure. I thought it had really great scenes and sets. plot was ok and the characters were annoying but over all I enjoyed this entry. I think what will restore this franchise to glory is just eradicating the human element entirely. why not just a full on transformer film maybe a prequel with the war on cybertron? why not? that was kind of what I saw developing in this film. I think the highlight for me was the scene in cuba with bumblebee it was too cool. the whole movie was cool enough to help me over look the terrible human element and lets face it the action was above subpar.
After my second viewing I still think the critics overlooked a lot of strengths this film had and just said it was bad based on their stereotypes against bay. I thought he ended his transformers vision on a strong memorable note.
