Review of Tremors 3: Back to Perfection (2001) by Graham M — 10 Apr 2015
Whereas Tremors 2 was just about enjoyable enough to warrant a watch, the third outing feels tired. Now it's just Burt and some fairly forgettable new characters holding the audience's attention.
Plotwise, it's basically a retread of Tremors 2 as well, this time showcasing the final stage in the graboids' life cycle; the ass-blaster, which is just basically a flying version of the shrieker.
Ultimately the action plays out with few memorable set pieces. The humour is much weaker this time around and the CGI has somehow gotten worse in the intervening 5 years. Dig out the first two movies, leave this one buried.
