Review of Tremors 3: Back to Perfection (2001) by Julian T — 13 Dec 2011
This is a watchable 3rd installment, but it is far from the original or even the second film. By now, it is clear that Michael Gross's character is the focal point of the franchise, and while he is great in this role, he is better as a supporting character rather than the star.
The absurdity of the plot line goes from funny and amusing in the 2nd film, to simply absurd in this one. It just doesn't seem to have the pop of the first two, nor the back and forth dialoug which made for alot of the humor in the first 2 films.
Still an above average B-grade monster movie, but its humor and wit arn't enough to vaunt it to cult-classic status. Stick with the orginal two unless your a real fan of the franchise.
