Review of Tristan & Isolde (2006) by Thomasl. — 14 Jan 2006
It really is pleasant to see a movie that doesn't try to be something it isn't. It seems like the director and actors all knew their role and what they hoped to accomplish. As a result of this clearly defined purpose, it acheives a certain relaxed elegance.
Its not pretending to be "the next classic film," but it doesn't need to.
