Review of Trust the Man (2005) by Wendy S — 21 Apr 2009
Whether in a relationship or not, this movie connects to some real scenerios of what couples experience. This movie clears out the stereotypes and doesn't isolate the viewer by narrowing the perspective to only marrieds or 7 year-relationship-yet-unmarrieds.
It doesn't dabble in singledom, but it doesn't isolate those who are, which I commend. The scene with the narration of the porn is one to be remembered. *snicker* (Love Julianne Moore!!) Still unsure as to the chosen title, as despite the troubled men, the women weren't all that perfect either.
