Review of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009) by Justin S — 12 Dec 2012
A stand-up attempt at maintaining a franchise no one cares about. You can see it in Michael Sheen's and Bill Nighy's very presence in the frame. Nighy himself gloriously over-acts in a way that compels you to feel little for him.
I suppose I sort of enjoyed it because I occasionally like to indulge in that type of dime-a-dozen cinematography where every color is a blacker hue of its actual color in real life.
