Review of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009) by Scott J — 20 Oct 2011
Again no reason to hate this film or should I say franchise when the fourth film comes soon. This is actually a very good prequel. For those of you who hated the Star Wars Prequels, check this out. It's not better but it's good.
Ok so the story goes like this. It starts off as a young Lucian is adopted by Viktor and as he grows up, he and Viktor's daughter Sonja fall in love. When Viktor finds this out, he kills her by putting her in the sun.
Lucian gets angry and creates an army of werewolves/lycans after that. It's a simple story for a prequel so there's no need to be pissed. Michael Sheen and Bill Nighy reprise their roles as Lucian and Viktor, Kevin Grevioux comes back as Raze who was the black werewolf in the beginning of the first film and Rhona Mitra was the perfect choice for Sonja and again if you haven't seen this, get of your fucking lazy asses and get to the DVD stores now you tasteless morons!!!!!! And now here's my final score: Underworld: Rise of the Lycans gets a 10/10.
