Review of Unfriended: Dark Web (2018) by Kickingtheplace — 20 Jul 2018
This movie was a total failure from the first one. It lacks the satisfaction of a thriller and suspense film despite there were some intriguing parts of the film. The idea from the first movie was unique in many ways because of it's primary focus through a webcam however it was really too prevalent and for this one really went too far with it.
The movie illustrates an inaccurate depiction of the Dark Web, even for the main characters with the worst knowledge of the internet even when delving in deeper. Like they would of have heard of "Tor" browser before taking action to click something that may be subjected to a sinister and sick nature.
I recommend not to watch this trash film, even the fact that it is revolved around the consequences of clicking into a murky digital area.
