Review of Unrest (2017) by Craig C — 29 Apr 2018
Unrest is a real eye opener. An incredibly moving film, dealing with difficult issues. The structure of the film led by Jennifer Brea gives an insight into what people who suffer from ME go through every day.
The personal feel behind the camera is evident and adds to the dynamic of the film. Unrest brings to the public eye a condition which is little understood, but crying out for greater public awareness.
The brave people who have experienced ME in their life, whether themselves or through family members need a voice - and Jennifer Brea grants them a platform here. Unrest is by no means an easy watch and at times it is very unsettling to see someone suffering so, but it is an excellent documentary that should be embraced worldwide.
