This movie has still has a bit of edge but it is definitely more of a trope reliant traditional horror movie than Get Out.
Not really scary, more strange than anything, strange can be good but I don't think they leaned into it enough to payoff.
Lots of laughing by the audience at things that probably weren't meant to be funny.
The "twist" was kind of lame, you can see it coming a mile away; it begs questions that have no good answers and it adds nothing to the movie, would have been much better had they just not addressed it at all.
