Review of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017) by Moviestalker — 02 Aug 2017
[TL;DR]The best way to describe this movie would be 'Fifth Element' without the plot. When somewhere within a movie trailer you see the words: "From the director of insert-your-favorite-movie-here" you know it's going to be an average experience.
I really wanted to give Luc Besson, the benefit of the doubt here yet 'Valerian and the city of a thousand planets' just fails miserably. I really wonder when people will finally get tired of these plotless movies that are overloaded with cgi crap.
Since Michael Bay has - once again - proven that you can make billions of dollars with this concept, I doubt it will be any time soon.
