Heavy sci fi with smart dialog, but maybe too smart/scifi for the average American. The romantic plot seems a bit heavy handed, but it works. I loved it 100% because I loved the space ship, star trek, star wars, like sci fi themes.
Oh, one more thing, don't believe the reviews (it's a must watch). This show has tons of action and it is above average when you compare it to the recent Star Wars movies.
