Review of Vampire Academy (2014) by Barby — 09 Oct 2019
Surprisingly interesting from the first scene to the end, saw it multiple times enjoying again each frame. The story of a vampire princess and her protector running away from the academy, and recaptured, not knowing about ‘why’ they needed to flee in first time.
The mystery is uncovered, piece by piece in perfect timing. I don’t understand why ‘professional critics’ hate this, maybe cause its religious references (totally avoidable), making Christianism looking.
.. not so bad? I don’t like that either and I can remove 1 point for the forced religious references, but hey, they are vampires, right? A belief inspired by the monotheistic myth.
