Enjoyable, silly comic book flick that never really overstays its welcome. It's basically a showcase of Tom Hardy's acting skills: riffing against himself as both Venom and Brock. Plot wise, it is as rote as the first, with some strong performances from both Harrelson and Harris as the villains.
An improvement over the 1st one, but in no way it's a great comic book film.
