Review of Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) by Darkwingschmuck — 12 Mar 2022
Equally as trashy as the first, albeit in different ways, Venom: Let There Be Carnage is a movie about nothing. Like its predecessor, this Venom features an at best paper-thin story, muddy visuals, and uninspired villains.
Though this one does attempt to be a bit more light-hearted, it's a tonal mess, which results in some bizarre and awkward attempts at comedy. While it may not be quite as hateful as the first, Venom: Let's Waste Carnage is only worth a watch as a cure for insomnia.
