I loved the original two series and felt the third was decent but haven't rewatched any since it ended back in 2007. As such I probably couldn't appreciate all the nods to the show. The film still feels more like a pilot tv show than a genuine film though. I also felt like some of the relationships were a bit odd given the time that's passed. Kristen Bell and Colantino slip back into their characters with ease although I wasn't so sure with a lot of the other returnees.
It's definitely one for the fans but I don't think it will win any new ones over.
