My favorite of Cronenberg's older movies. The story doesn't always make sense and some scenes are almost headache inducing but it is all so frightningly interesting that no matter how much you try, you can't look away.
James Woods gives one of the best performances of his career and Cronenberg is stunningly sharp in his direction.
