Review of Virunga (2014) by Aereonna C — 28 Nov 2016
As an assignment for my AP Environmental Science class, I clicked on this documentary with no high expectations since most documentaries end disappointingly or are executed poorly. However, this documentary was very different.
It focused on a very much real and hot issue, the conservation of National Parks. More specifically, it focuses on mountain rangers trying to protect the Virunga National Park, home to the world's last mountain gorillas.
Since this is the last of their species, it is very important for rangers to try their best to protect them and I think it is very touching to the audience, the dedication and love these rangers have for the park and the mountain gorillas.
I highly recommend watching this documentary as it is very insightful and touching!
