Review of Wait Until Dark (1967) by Hamidgoodarzi — 20 Aug 2023
A myth called "Hepburn" It seems that the biggest challenge of making the movie "Wait Until Dark" was choosing and convincing an actor for the negative role opposite "Audrey Hepburn".
One of the notable points is that "Audrey Hepburn" was a nurse at one point in the World War and she nursed the Chinese-born film director "Terrence Yang" in the war. The movie is a classic drama/thriller and follows the rules of the classic movie well.
Almost more than 80% of the film is in the domestic location and we have seen classic decoupage. Light is an important category in this film, from the title to the burning blindness and darkening of the apartment, as well as night and day and the curtain that keeps opening and closing.
The choice of location is smart, and the other thing is that the movie is a movie adaptation of a show. In some minutes, it gives the audience the feeling of watching a show.
