Musicals are not my thing; in fact, I was kind of bored towards the end of 'West Side Story," but I must admit that Steven Spielberg proves once again that he's a master of classical film conventions.
This new adaptation to the Broadway musical looks gorgeous in every way — the initial sequence is flawless —, and it feels like you're watching something out of the '50s. Will I watch it ever again? Of course not. Will it win Oscars? For sure.
