Review of What Happened to Monday (2017) by Cokronakan — 31 Jul 2018
It's centered around a real (today present) problem. It's very dark approach to solving this overpopulation problem, and it has some real heavy morality questions, plus the sisters relations which is interesting.
There a lot of twists in the plot, not to complex but not to easy to anticipate. Which makes them great, plus there are more of them. This movie's story was really welcomed and it's not a happy ending.
And you don't really know who's the bad and who's the good. They all want to help in their own way. Considering that the movie was a action adventure/ crime /semi-futuristic the visual effect could have been a lot better.
The sound effects are really lousy some times as well. The acting could have also use some polish as well. I'ts not really that immersive. But the switch shots are really good. Overall it's a good movie but just with a little bit more live could have been really really amazing movie.
The plot helps the movie, but the other mistakes drags it down a bit.
