Third remake of the Gershwin musical (the second at MGM) uses up the contracts of Connie Francis and Harve Presnell and throws in Herman's Hermits, Sam the Sham, Louis Armstrong and Liberace for good measure.
You know you're in trouble when the highlight of the film is Liberace's "Aruba Liberace" number.
