Review of White Boy Rick (2018) by Dave R — 23 Sep 2018
Well acted, greedy, and ultimately a harsh look at the realities of life lived on the wrong side of the law. No one, not white boy Rick, not his dreamy loss greeting father, not his drug attic sister, comes out well in this movie.
They are all hurting I'm just trying to get by in the harsh, unforgiving landscape of Detroit. The justice system, especially the police and the parole board are the true villains in the film.
