I have a rule of not imposing my opinion on people and I try to avoid telling them not to see any particular movie, but here I'm gonna make it very easy for you.

There is a movie made in 1992 starring Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson that is devastatingly superior to this dreck in every aspect and I would tell you in any situation that you'd better watch that one over this ''update''.

What a sad pursuit to do remakes of lesser quality because they expect young audiences to watch it just because it stars a mainstream ''rapper''.

If that's what motivates you to watch it, then go ahead, but if you're more interested in quality instead, then I say you'd better turn your attention to the original.
