Did not read the book, but easily concluded that this movie should have never been made. It is all over the place without any point or purpose. The actors are great. The movie's plot and writing were an angry reminder of the mentality of the covid years, and a provocation of boredom and anxiety for 2 hours.
This would have been a much better Broadway show.
