First Tyler Perry I've seen in full. Just got done, and wow...if that wasn't some ol' bull sh!t. The performances were about as hollow as a coffin, possibly due to wack directing. The stories were okay, but over the top and borderline minstrel.

Angela was a damn fool, even though she was comic relief, she was stereotypical, and not in a satirical way either. Tyler Perry had the best directed scenes, I thought, which seems self-indulgent, but whatever.

Another thing that charlie-horsed the experience was Michael Jai-White's character. Listen, Michael can act...here, he was just a bafoon. This movie made me chuckle a few times, other than that, it made me angry at how lazy Tyler Perry really is.
