There's just too many dissatisfying elements to this movie that are incredibly risky with no real pay off. The best I can say of it is that I have never seen anything like it, even in Lynch's canon.
Overall this feels like an exercise in just how over-the-top you can do a love story as an absurdist comedy.. which can only satisfy so much.
